Greenwich Leg Armor
Greenwich armours – it’s XVI century armor made in Royal Almain Armoury (Greenwich Armoury) founded by Henry VIII the King of England in 1511. Though Greenwich armors were made by hired German blacksmiths, researchers single them out into a separate group of the English style armors.
Greenwich Leg Armor consists of cuisses and knee protection. This model of leg defence differs with articulated cuisse splints. The upper edge of cuisse and lower under knee plate are decorated with a braid cord.
Our Greenwich Leg Armor can be completed with Greaves.
You can order it in a standard size or to be according to your personal measurements. The base metal for our Greenwich Leg Armor is mild steel which can be upgraded to stainless steel, tempered steel, or titanium.
Please note that measurements should be with padding/gambeson.
