Bevor
A bevor is an element of a helmet or a separate element of head protection in the form of half-collar, which typically covers the chest (and sometimes shoulders) and encloses the throat, chin, and often ends at the upper lip. Bevors were developed for and usually used with helmets such as Salad or Chapelle (and are sometimes attached directly to them). A bevor is great for breathing comfort and range of motion for one’s head due to the slight remove from the lower jaw and neck. Our Bevor is equipped with a locking button to prevent the upper section from coming loose during battle while still being able to be lowered when not fighting to allow for even easier breathing.
Our Bevor can be crafted from a variety of metals and thicknesses. We also offer brass trim (with or without etching) as an upgrade to the base model.
Bevor makes a perfect set with the Sallet helmet.
