Our Brigandine Arms are completed with steel elbow cops and the plates are made of 1.5mm cold rolled steel. Each plate is covered by the black paint on both sides to provide additional protection against rust (with the exception of the elbow cops which on painted on the interior only). The inner material is canvas, and the outer fabric is 100% natural wool. The special construction of this piece of kit provides great range of motion and is very simple to take apart for transportation and storage. We can craft your Brigandine Arms from a variety of metals in either 1mm or 1.5mm thicknesses.
