Transitional Sallet
Transitional sallet represents the type of late XV – beginning of XVI century helmet. At the end of the XV century the shape of dome and visor of salled changed according to battle requirements and aesthetic of the new epoch. Therefore Sallet with chin protection was transformed into Close Helmet and Armet.
Our Transitional Sallet has a Maximilian style fluted forehead plate. Visor is attached to the dome with massive decorated rivets. Both: the visor and chin protection are movable and have breathing holes. Tail of the helmet is made of three segments. Transitional Sallet can be made of mild steel, hardened spring steel, stainless steel, titanium.
We draw your attention that our base finishing is satin matte.
