Lamellar Armor with Shoulders
Lamellar type armor originally came from the East. It was in use in East Europe. In Scandinavia lamellar type armor was widespread from the Viking Age ( 793 – 1066) until the second half of the 14th century.
Set of Lamellar Armor with Shoulders includes torso protection and a pair of the pauldrons. It is made from metal plates with dimensions of 100 x 28 mm. One row of the scales is overlapped by the next one. Such arrangement of the elements makes lamellar armor flexible keeping the high protective qualities. Both: the torso protection and spaulders are trimmed with the qualitative leather. It gives a complete and neat look to this armor.
Plates for the lamellar set can be made from the mild steel, tempered steel or stainless steel. If you want to get this armor maximum lightweight – then choose titanium. Two options are available: 1.0mm and 1.5mm thick.
You can order separately lamellar torso protection or just lamellar pauldrons.
Please notice, that measurements should be with padding/gambeson.
