Legharness Profight
This model of leg armor is based on medieval plate legs typical for the late XIV – early XV century. During the armor evolution the leg protection was changed from its early forms to the functional articulated plate armor. And it’s the most essential points are: hip plate is made from one metal sheet; it’s forged according to anatomical shape; upper part of thigh protection is longer to cover the hip bone and adjusted at the bottom to fit the articulated knee cap.
Legharness is important part of your armor kit. It should be functional, light, articulated, comfortable and attractive for sure. Hard pro-fight requires top quality leg armour. We decided to create Legharness Profight on the base of our steel plate legs. Spending a lot of time on improving the metal patterns we achieved the result we’ve been expected for: leg armor that satisfy the top requirements of experienced pro.
This model of armored legs gives you maximum protection for using in medieval combat. Upper leg is completely covered all around. Leg armor consists of big front thigh pate and back hip plate, knee cap, articulated steel segments and lower underknee plate. There’s a fan plate on each poleyn that protects the inner side of knee.
The upper edge of legharness underlines thigh. Thanks to it armor provides a very good motion mobility. Any of our models of leg armor is equipped with leather points on the top. Whatever you use simple leather belt or arming belt – you can be sure that the weight of armor is balanced right.
