Our Vertically Quilted Padded Set consists of our Vertically Quilted Gambeson and Vertically Quilted Stockings. The set is made with durable fabric and cotton batting and high-quality vertical stitching. You can choose the color of the fabric and trim and compose your own design. Additionally, our Padded Set can be sewn to your personal measurements using the “custom size” option for a perfect fit. If you so choose, the gambeson can be equipped with sewn leather arming points. This set is suitable for medieval combat sportsmen.

    The stockings are excellent. and truly are a custom fit. They are the only reason for the two stars. But I paid a lot of money (including shipping) for a custom-sized Gambeson I cannot use. This Gambeson is listed as suitable for HEMA, Harness fighting which it is NOT! The sleeves are ATTACHED, NOT SEWN IN!!! A major target in Harnischfectn HEMA/Harness fighting is the armpit. This gambeson by having the sleeves connect one tie point at the top of the shoulder, leaves the armpits completely unprotected! The pictures on the page (for the set) Do not show that the sleeves are separate! The model always has his arms down. Very disappointed. Huge waste of money, and I feel downright deceived. DO NOT BUY FOR HEMA/HARNISCHFECHTEN!!!

    While I was initially skeptical of cost, as the price, custom fitting, and shipping brought my bill to a bit over 200 USD, upon receiving the set I was thoroughly impressed. The craftsmanship is exquisite, everything fits properly and is made to be mobile and comfortable. A spectacular set for HEMA, harness Fighting, Renaissance fairs, or anything else that may cross your mind!
